IF you are from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but you weren’t there at The Gardens Mall yesterday at around 2PM then too bad for you!! You’ve missed witnessing around 400 Malaysians showing the “Loser” hand signs on their face with a big smile!!
I’m one of them. =X
It was quite a crazy start for a Saturday. Upon reaching The Gardens Mall Ballroom at around 11AM+ i already see near to a hundred people. These crazy people were there and they practiced again and again in small groups by themselves for the flash mob that is going to happen hours later.
What happened next?
The people were brought to Mid Valley Megamall where everyone of them thought that they’re going to do the dance in center court and there were tweets describing how excited they are to do a flash mob there.
The next thing you know, everyone ended up at The Gardens Mall and the flash mob dance happened there!
Well it was fun, though i didn’t dance but to witness it happen from the start till the end was just awesomely cool!

Oh by the way, the flash mob aftermath was followed by the people dancing one more time to the Glee Tunes where everyone gathered at the ground floor and it was totally random and NOT in the plan itself!!

FAQ :
1) Is this another rehearsal? No no no. It’s a party, not a rehearsal.
2) Are we going to have a flashmob? No. Just come and party with us. No flashmob.
3) What do we have to wear to the party? No dress code. You can even come in your pyjama if you want.
4) Will there be food and drinks? We will provide drinks. Can you bring food? Maybe snacks or something?
5) Can I bring my friend/ bf / gf / parents / pet ? Bring normal human beings only. No pets allowed, please.
6) I want to go to this party but I cannot go, how? Come next week. See if we’re there or not.

May 7, 2010Hi guys, please see the video below to know the latest dance moves for Glee Flashmob Dance: KL Chapter. We did this video on our own specially for the KL Chapter. So watch it k! Tomorrow we’re going to do it exactly like the video!

We will upload the video of the finalized dance steps and also the final version of the music, by Friday 4pm. We will try to do it earlier but no promises. 90% of our moves are following the Seattle version. So for those who couldn’t make it to Thursday nights rehearsal, make sure you practice with the video. Those who came for Thursday night, you should be fine but I suggest you practice anyway. 
We’ll give more info later either on this website or via email. It’s 2 am and I’m exhausted. We have to record the full video of the final moves first thing tomorrow morning so it can be edited and uploaded immediately. After that the team has to go to Bukit Bintang Boys Secondary School to train some of the boys there for the flashmob dance. Anyone who would like to join us, volunteer and help teach the boys, please email diyana[at]wago[dot]com.my.

It’s only 2 days left and we have been sweating it out in the last 2 days of rehearsals!
We went from the first rehearsal yesterday at the Ballroom, The Gardens with quite a bunch of crazy spirited Gleeks…
And ended up today with a mega dose of Gleekdom at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (L) Bukit Bintang’s open space!
I bet that’s enough to excite you to join our NEXT rehearsal on the Thursday 6th of May, TODAY, at:
8-11pm. Ballroom, 5th Floor, The Gardens Midvalley.
For now, SHOW your support to the project by changing your profile pic to the L sign. If you don’t know what it is by now, you shouldn’t be reading this anyway!
If you have not been to any rehearsals, you should come. If you would like to bring a friend, or someone who is more than just a friend, then THEY can come too as long as you show up. Just make sure you have WATER, SHOES and TOWEL with you.
Oh and before you groan in pain over your backaches and such, there will be NO rehearsals this Friday.
We will just meet once more at 12 noon on Saturday 8th May and then it’s showtime!
ps: We will only reveal where to meet this Saturday, so do keep refreshing until you get it :p
